This nonprofit web design was created for Twin Lakes College (TLC) in Santa Cruz, California. TLC has since closed, but remains the highest quality massage education facility in my opinion.
I included a clean, fast–loading dropdown menu using CSS for easy navigation. Warm colors and new images were integrated to attract new students and to evoke enthusiasm and connection. The home page is now more inviting with its slideshow, which gives potential students a quick overview of the school, backed up by explanitory images. And their logo makeover has a professional look, while staying familiar to long–time students and fans.
Along with a custom website, TLC got a new FaceBook facelift—complete with matching banner, Welcome Page, angetting closer to their fan–base goal!

Each main menu item has been organized to have its own submenu on the left side of the page that corresponds with each of its subpages. Individual pages have either a review or other pertinent information on the right. I added a changeable writing topic to the home page, rotating images of her books, and attractive image links to her FaceBook, Twitter, and contact pages. We added several pages and a drop–line menu system to accommodate her new material: articles, anthologies, interviews, and an easy way to shop for all her books at Barnes & Noble, among them.

A simple entry page for a photography or other web site. Black and white photos are so powerful, without the help of a frame or even an accent color. Many photographers prefer simple landing pages to give a powerful entry into their portfolio.
